Effective date: February 23, 2026
Vessel Visualizer (“the App”) is designed to let you create, preview, and export vessel designs on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles and how.
1. Data We Collect
We do not require account creation and we do not collect personal information such as name, email, or phone number through the App.
The App stores project and settings data locally on your device, such as:
- Vessel/project files you create
- Brush, glaze, and UI preferences
- Tutorial progress and app settings
- Locally imported assets (for example, brush images or reference photos)
2. Device Permissions
The App may request access to the following features:
- Camera (AR): Used to place your vessel in augmented reality on real-world surfaces.
- Photo Library: Used when you choose to import a reference image or brush asset.
- Screen Recording (optional): Used only when you explicitly start a recording workflow in the App.
Permissions are optional and can be changed anytime in iOS/iPadOS Settings.
3. How Data Is Used
Data is used only to provide app functionality, including:
- Saving and reopening your work
- Rendering and editing vessels, textures, and glazes
- Exporting files (USDZ, OBJ, STL)
- Applying your chosen settings and preferences
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data.
The App does not share your project data with us because it is stored locally on your device.
If you choose to export or share files, those files are shared only to destinations you select (for example, Files, Messages, AirDrop, or other apps).
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple system frameworks (such as ARKit, RealityKit, PhotosUI, ReplayKit, and Share Sheet) to provide features. Your use of Apple services is also governed by Apple’s policies and terms.
6. Data Retention
Your data remains on your device until you:
- Delete individual projects/assets in the App,
- Clear app data/caches (where available), or
- Remove the App from your device.
7. Security
We use platform-provided storage and security mechanisms. No method is 100% secure, but we aim to minimize data exposure by keeping project data on-device.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your Rights
Because the App primarily stores data locally, you can manage your data directly by deleting projects, settings, and exported files from your device.
If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as defined under applicable California privacy laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as features evolve. We will update the Effective Date above when changes are made.
